Operator and scope

Cameron Low in Ontario, Canada operates vtune.app and develops VTune under that brand. Contact hello@cameronlow.com about information Cameron holds. The public website provides product information and documentation. Cameron’s hosted instance is a private alpha, with no public registration or public media library.

Each independently hosted instance has its own operator. Its operator is responsible for its settings, service providers, retention, backups, and privacy notice. The software capabilities described below do not mean that a visitor to this website has a VTune account.

Public website and contact

The public website has no advertising pixels, analytics scripts, third-party fonts, visitor accounts, or payment form. Files are served with the site. The hosting server receives request information such as IP address, URL, browser information, time, and any referrer. These logs support delivery, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention; normal web-server logs rotate daily with 14 rotations retained. Incident evidence may be kept longer when necessary.

The site uses Hostinger infrastructure in the United States. Contact email is forwarded by Cloudflare to a Google Gmail inbox. Correspondence is used to respond and manage the inquiry and kept while needed for that purpose or necessary legal records. Emailing Cameron does not subscribe you to marketing. Providers may process information outside Canada under local laws. Do not send credentials, private media, or identification documents in an initial message.

Information used by an instance

When you choose to join an instance, Discord sign-in provides account and profile identifiers needed for authentication and permissions. An instance handles relevant server, role and voice-channel identifiers; sessions and terms acknowledgments; uploaded audio and metadata; ownership, invitations and sharing groups; queue requests, listening statistics, and operational or security events. Essential session cookies support authenticated use. The public marketing website does not set these account cookies.

Visibility and third parties

Uploaded tracks start private to their owner. An owner can grant access to invite-only groups. Group members can browse and queue permitted songs; the software does not provide a public download endpoint. Voice playback is audible to people in the Discord channel. Administrators control the underlying server and database and can inspect metadata or remove content for moderation.

An instance communicates with Discord for sign-in, bot operation and voice playback. Public-URL playback may use YouTube extraction tooling and contact the source service. Those providers process information under their own terms. Cameron does not sell personal information collected through his site or instance.

Retention, deletion and backups

Instance uploads are converted to Ogg Opus and kept on persistent storage until deleted by their owner or an authorized administrator. Other account, invitation, group and audit records remain under the instance operator’s retention rules. Active queues are held in memory and end with the session or a restart. The software does not establish a universal automatic deletion deadline for all instance data or backups.

For Cameron’s private instance, contact hello@cameronlow.com for access, correction or account deletion. Account removal is performed by the instance owner and may first require transferring or deleting owned groups, removing queued tracks, and ending active uploads. File-removal failures require operator follow-up. Backup copies and necessary security records require separate review; a deletion request is not a promise that every backup disappears immediately. For another instance, contact that operator before uploading information if its retention or backup rules are unclear.

Requests and concerns

Contact hello@cameronlow.com to request access, correction or deletion of information Cameron holds, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. Include the relevant site or instance and enough context to find the records. Any required identity check will be proportionate, and applicable retention limits will be explained. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Changes to this notice will be reflected in its date.
