Privacy policy

VTune is a private Discord music bot. It uses only the information needed to respond to commands, manage playback, and remember server-level settings.

Information VTune handles

Discord server, channel, role, and user identifiers needed to process commands and permissions.
Display names, public video URLs, titles, and queue details while a playback session is active.
Server settings such as the selected DJ role and default volume.
Limited operational logs, which may include server or user identifiers when an error occurs.

Storage and retention

Server settings are stored until a server manager resets them or the operator removes them. Active queues and playback details are held in memory and reset when VTune disconnects or restarts. VTune does not save streamed audio or maintain a media archive.

Sharing and third parties

VTune communicates with Discord to operate the bot and with YouTube endpoints and related extraction tooling to resolve public media links. Information is not sold. Third-party services process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

This website

This static website does not use accounts, advertising cookies, analytics, or tracking pixels. Standard web-server logs may temporarily record request metadata such as IP address, path, browser user agent, and timestamp for security and reliability.

Requests and contact

To ask about stored server settings or request removal, contact the VTune operator through the Discord server where the bot is installed. Server managers can also use VTune's settings reset command.
