Uploaded media

You retain ownership of your songs. Uploading a file does not license it as part of VTune's source code. You grant the instance operator the limited technical permission needed to store, convert, and play it according to your group-sharing choices.

Sharing

A song remains private until its owner shares it with a group. Authorized requesters may play a shared song in a Discord voice channel, where every listener already present can hear it. Do not share a song when you lack permission for that audience.

Prohibited use

• Do not upload or play infringing, private, restricted, paid, malicious, or unlawful content.
• Do not evade access controls, access another member's private library, or redistribute stored files.
• Do not abuse invitations, uploads, playback controls, or infrastructure.
• Do not attempt to extract credentials, tokens, or other users' information.

Self-hosting

The VTune software is offered under AGPL-3.0. Instance operators are independently responsible for configuration, security, backups, storage, member moderation, privacy compliance, Discord configuration, and third-party terms.

Availability and warranty

VTune is provided as-is on a best-effort basis. Discord, playback sources, codecs, and other dependencies can change without notice. To the extent permitted by law, contributors and operators disclaim warranties and liability for indirect or consequential loss.

Enforcement and contact

An instance operator may suspend accounts or remove content to protect users, rights holders, storage, or service reliability. Questions about a particular instance should be sent to its operator.
